Add 3/4 cup of boiling water to 1/4 cup quick cook steel cut oats and dish of salt in a deep microwave-safe dish (leaving room for the oats to expand during cooking). 2. Cook on high for 3 minutes, stir and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. 3. Remove from microwave and allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.
