1. Combine water (3 1/4 cups), butter or margarine (1 Tbsp.), and precooked sausage and/or ham (1 1/2 lbs) in a 4qt. saucepan. Bring to a boil. 2. Add Entree Mix. Stir well and boil for 2-3 minutes. 3. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until rice is tender stirring often. Ensure meat is thoroughly cooked to 165 degrees F. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy! Pro Tip: Add a ham hock to the pot for more intense flavor!
