Our winemaking team seeks to capture the vibrant, bright flavor profile of Monterey — where the triumvirate of fog, wind and sun forge distinctive wines with vivid complexity, superb acidity and a pronounced minerality that have become the hallmark of Carmel Road wines. “Lively aromas of white peach and asian pear. Bright acidity, minerality, fresh and vibrant on the palate with layers of citrus. Texture and richness lead to a round and complex finish. It was an early vintage set by some warmer weather in September. Lower than usual yields, but extremely good quality and concentration in the wines.” KRIS KATO, WINEMAKER Think of this as a perfect brunch or seafood wine, equally comfortable with quiche as it is with shrimp or crab. This bottle features a convenient screw cap for fresh wine and easy pouring. This bottled California chardonnay is 13.5% alcohol by volume.
