This bag has microscopic holes to let the rice breathe. It is not waterproof. Please do not place on wet surfaces.
Just add water. Cooking Directions All purpose Rice (excellent for sushi): Combine 1-1/2 cups nishiki rice and 2 cups water in medium saucepan bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Or until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat. Let stand covered for 10 minutes before serving. Fluff with fork and serve. Makes about 4 cups cooked rice or 6 (2/3 cup) servings. Note: If using electric rice cooker, combine 1-1/2 cups rice and 2 cups water in electric rice cooker pot. Continue as directed by rice cooker manufacturer.
